My artistic practice utilizes weaving, drawing, and repurposing in an attempt to document the disrepair of American industries and the effects upon both the environment and living beings. This process is prompted by working within manufacturing industries, changing environmental landscapes, experiences with health and economic strain, childhood adversity and its lifelong effects, and examining medical research and personal trauma. These topics culminate in work that is made to attend to wounds both physical and psychological.

I am currently studying the impact of trauma upon women who face difficulties within their home, work, and healthcare environments. Systems including general public, children's, environmental, and women's health are all considered when creating emblems for those needing solace from systems that are working against them.
